This is extremely overdue, but I would never feel quite right if I didn't publish it. So without further ado, my Euro Trip playlist!
Note: Please keep in mind that these are not the only songs I listened to.
Hope it was worth the wait!

The 1st Official Mixtape
Prepare yourself for the most exciting thing since the release of Iron Man 2: The 1st Official Mixtape. I realize that I've posted numerous playlists since The Beginning, and I even had a background music player going for a while. Somehow, none of these options sat right with me. Finally I found a solution, so without further ado, THE 1st OFFICIAL MIXTAPE!

Hello, Goodbye
Wow, one month is a long time to be away!
One of the most true things I've heard all year: "AP means advanced procrastinator." I know those of you who saw me studying my euro flash cards at every opportune moment and reading my AP book wherever possible are probably guffawing at this statement. I would just like to say that I felt like I could have studied more, but that's just me :)
The TA in my health class stinks of drugs. Gross.
TODAY IS PROM. Not that I'm going or anything. However, I will be major prom photo creeping on Sunday! Admit it, you do it too.
A major accomplishment occured on Wednesday night. I semi-conquered my fear of spiders. I was able to be in the same room as a spider and not run out screaming. In fact, I even captured the spider in a bottle! I was pretty proud of myself.
Two movies I must see: Something Borrowed and Thor
I know this happened a while ago, but since I have been MIA for a month or so, I thought I would talk about it anyway. I totally loved the Royal Wedding. Everything about it was simply perfect. Her dress, the kiss, you name it. But we all know who I really had my eye on. That's right, Prince Harry. He is just too cute. *Sigh* But here's the real news. Apparently he is thinking of tying the knot with long time on-again-off-again girlfriend Chelsy Davy. Though I'm heartbroken, I'm very happy for them.
I really like grocery shopping. It's very relaxing.
I am in love with the Script's album "Science & Faith".
I have successfuly discovered the best Vegan snack ever. At lunch, go to the ala carte line and ask for the Chocolate Mint Sweet Crisps. They are the best thing ever invented for vegans. Seriously.
I'm really tired of school. I'm partially already mentally checked out.
Okay so this week's playlist is not a screenshot of my iTunes. Shocking, I know.
Instead, it's a screenshot of my youtube account. Haha, yes it's still a screenshot because I'm obsessed with taking pictures of my laptop. The songs are all really good, so make sure to listen to them!
Well that's all I have to say for now.
Byee! :)

Spring Break Blues & Other Interesting Tunes
In case you're wondering, no. I didn't go anywhere exotic or adventurous for spring break. However, I did to Chicago! If you don't know me, I LOVE CHICAGO, and to top it off, it was practically summer down there! The journey home, however, is a completely different story.
We started from Chicago with sunny skies and a pleasant breeze in the air (this was around 1:30 pm). We had been driving for a while when a series of unfortunate events ocurred. At about 4:30 pm, we hit a traffic jam on a single lane road that went on for at least five miles. That was loads of fun! We probably started driving at a normal pace again at 5:30 pm. Shortly after, Mother Nature began to have other ideas.
The skies suddenly became overcast with dark clouds and it started to pour. If that wasn't enough, hail the size of what sounded like golf balls began to pound down on the car. Lovely. We could no longer see the road and pulled over under the nearest bridge. It finally cleared up after a while, but we were shaken up to say the least. We reached home much later than we had planned and I got to sleep in on monday morning :)
Speaking of crazy weather, when will it be summer already? I'm tired of this fluctuating weather!
Guess what? I found out my neighbor's dogs have rabies that is supposedly harmless to humans. Yippee!
Good News & Bad News:
Good: I got a 'SUPERIOR' on my solo for the solo/ensemble contest! You could say I'm pleased with myself, as it is the highest rating. I was slightly worried that I wouldn't do so well because the judge was known to be a tough one, but I'm definitely happy with the results.
Bad: I have an inflamed tendon in my left knee, causing me to have trouble walking without limping. Even worse, I have a dance performance tomorrow that I'll barely be able to make it through. Yay!
SHOCKING FACT: Iron Man 3 is being made by Disney and without the direction of the amazing Jon Favreau. Okay, so maybe it isn't that ground-breaking, but for an Iron Man fanatic like myself, this stuff matters. I don't know how I feel about it yet, but my expectations are definitely lower.
It's officially prom season!! My favorite things about it: the cute ways of asking and the dresses! Just the other day, in our school's parking lot, I saw the cutest idea ever. The boy (who shall remain nameless) had decorated the girl's car in colorful post-its, and the windshield had a huge 'PROM?' on it also made of post- its. The boy was pacing around, waiting for the girl, with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Oh, I almost forgot; she said yes! :)
Lynxes are so cute!!! I definitely need a pet lynx.
Since we're talking about cats already, did anyone know that mountain lions, pumas, and cougars are the same thing?
Okay, so this week's playlist is slightly different. The songs don't go very well together, but are definitely worth listening to!
I hope everyone had a wonderful spring break!

Black History Month: Week 4
Oh my gosh. I think these past two weeks killed me. I almost started crying in Euro, had three meltdowns at home this week, and managed to fail a quiz.
If African people are sunburnt, I'm honey toasted, and white people are lightly roasted.
You know you're a nerd when you recognize an allusion to The Odyssey in a random movie.
I was actually getting hopeful last week when I saw grass. But no, Minnesota winters will be Minnesota winters. The only part I'm actually mad about is not getting a snow day. Of course the snow would stop right in time for it to be cleaned up!
Easy A is hillarious. The End.
Easy A is hillarious. The End.
Remember a few weeks ago, when it was subzero and everyone was freezing their butt off? Well, while I was shivering, my brain was thinking "this is my body's attempt to maintain body heat through homeostasis." I think I've reached a new level of being too school for cool.
Aren't know-it-all subs annoying?
Sister Wendy is on Facebook!
GUESS WHAT?! I'm getting my braces off in a month!!! You could say I'm excited.
One of my biggest fears right now is forgetting to take off my rubberbands and accidentally swallowing one.
I made up a poem to describe myself when I have horrible colds. Here it is:
Happy Birthday to me,
I'm a hundred and two,
I sound like a zombie, and I feel like one too!
I thought it was pretty creative.
Whenever I gravitate back towards Glee, I start to have second thoughts.
Let's be honest. Sam and Santana? What a joke.
Speaking of Glee, I am so jealous of anyone going to the Glee concert.
Okay here's the final playlist! I hope you guys liked my little Black History Month spree!

Black History Month: Week 2
Alright, it is officially the end of the second week of Black History Month. Wow, February's going by fast!
AHHHH! I WATCHED INCEPTION! I can finally understand what people have been ranting and raving about! Yes, I agree with the general opinion, it is amazing!!
So we were driving to Chanhassen this weekend and I learned about some new remedies from my sister. It's interesting what ten year olds can come up with.
Divya's Cures for Car-Sickness
1. Burp it out
2. If Cure #1 doesn't work, fart it out.
I am in love with that website dearblankpleaseblank. Beware: there are some extremely inappropriate ones but let's be honest, those can be ignored.
One of my favorites:
Dear World,
Wanna hear a pizza joke?
Sincerely, Nah, it's too cheesy.
Raise your hand if you occasionally shop at Lakewinds. If you do, make sure you buy the rustic herb and cheese bread. It's to die for.
I realized something this week. 0.5 lead is so much better than 0.7.
It's not even a debate anymore.
I have officially renewed my gleek status. Just thought I'd announce the good news.
Guess what? I found a restaurant to replace Champs, as impossible as that sounds.
Drumroll, please.
*Drumroll*
It's Noodles! (Yes, I am aware its actually Noodles and Co.) Right now, I'm going through an obsession. I've had it twice this week. My favorite thing there is probably the Pesto Cavatapi.
Ummm, who took first place at Science Olympiad Regionals?
Thats right, Wayzata! HOLLA.
Gosh, I love Heart Week. Especially the sing-o-grams.
Harry Potter Day was amazing. Some of the costumes were really creative.
If you couldn't tell, I was Padma Patil.
I can't wait to see what Mr. Wayzata's like. I didn't go last year, so I'm super excited for this year!
Alright, here goes my first Black History Month playlist. Hope you guys like it!

Remember Me?
Wow. It feels so strange writing a post again, and that's only with a two week break!
My only excuse for not writing a post last friday was exhaustion. Finals are mentally draining people!
This semester looks pretty iffy, its going to take a little bit of time to settle into it.
Okay first thing's first. I'm bored of Champs. You know, the restaurant? They have such good food, no debate there, but I've been there too many times. I know the menu too well, it's getting weird and blah.
Haha, I got my first D+ plus in school today. Ironically, I felt like I'd finally acheived something.
Okay, how many people know who Imogen Heap is? Everytime I'm listening to her songs, I have to remind myself that she's a girl. Her voice is so unisexual. To be honest, I kind of liked her songs better when I thought it was a guy singing them.
It's always awkward when you're on the bus, and the girl sitting in the seat across from you is sobbing.
Okay who knows that SNL song "The Creep" feat. Nicki Minaj..? It is SO GREAT. Everyone needs to look it up and listen to it. I'm too lazy to post the video on here.
Speaking of Nicki Minaj, she ruins like almost every song.
Is it okay to think your substitute teacher is attractive?
I'm so sick of identifying birds. Ornithology is possibly the most addicting and annoying event in Science Olympiad. Which reminds me, I have a regional competition tomorrow! STRESS.
HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH!!!
I'm actually serious. In honor of all the black people, for every blog post I write this month, except for this one, I will post a playlist with some of my favorite songs by black singers or rappers. You go black people!
How awesome is the idea of having Harry Potter day during Heart Week? Super awesome.
How long has it been since anyone's seen a Propel bottle? I swear, Vitamin Water and Gatorade have taken over the flavored water industry.
I saw No Strings Attached last friday. It might be my new favorite chick flick. It's so friggin' adorable!! This week's playlist is inspired by something in it. It's a period mix!! Hahaha, that sounds insane but I couldn't resist.
Here it is!
Mmkay, I think I've written enough to make up for last week..

Funny Bone
I actually love this picture. so much. It might be the most enjoyable cat picture ever.
This week, I figured out how to take screen shots on my laptop!! I have taken atleast ten screen shots since then. However, the sad part is that I have had my laptop for more than a year and a half and have just figured out how to used this marvelous feature.
Found this ad in the kitchen. I'm not sure if I should be surprised that the word pink can be used so many times in such a short passage. (This is a screen shot of the electronic version of the ad!)
I have realized something about my self this week. I am not a funny person. As depressing as that sounds, let me clarify. I'm not good at being funny when put on the spot or in a situation that requires humor, but I'm funny in a cheese-fest kind of way. Haha just another week of introspection..
One of my snappy comebacks this week:
Amy: God! This kiwi just pricked my finger!
Me: Who are you, sleeping beauty?
Yeah, it was pretty epic.
I enjoy driving wheelchairs. Is it possible to have that as a summer job? I would love to just drive people around in their wheelchairs.
I finally got my much needed hat. It might be my favorite winter accessory. That sounds super girly but hats and gloves/mittens are important!
So I'm considering getting a Ping. It's that music social network thing on iTunes and I'm not sure if it's the next logical step or not. I mean, I'm already obsessed with music, why not get a music social network page... right?
I recently discovered a newly found appreciation for Buca di Beppo. The Alfredo Fettucini (my favorite pasta besides ravioli and cheese tortellini) is to die for. Also, they have etremely appropriate statues and fountains (that was a joke people.)
One of my personal favorites.
Amy Poehler is a beast. Just throwing that out there. I also think that she is funnier than her husband, Will Arnett (no offense to him).
Harry Potter is just so connectable to anything really. This morning, we had a teaching project in Euro and we were talking about a picture of a train station and how the architecture looked. Then, one of the girls who was presenting mentioned that it was, infact, King's Cross Station. Immediately, everyone exclaimed something about Harry Potter. We even got our teacher talking about it.
I was victim to a brilliant idea five seconds ago. Brilliant idea: instead of typing out this week's playlist, I'm going to post a screen shot of it!! I have also just decided that this will now become a regular practice, not something for this post. It seems very clean and cool. Hope you like the playlist!
Mmkay byee :)

Questions, questions
I love Jake Gyllenhaal. So much.
So apparently uptown is the new place to shop?
I have never been to uptown but now I'm tempted.
How do you know if you're friends with a guy? Probably the question of the week for me.
I'm excited!! Wayzata's having a Sadie-Hawkins Dance!! I don't know why I'm excited considering that I don't know who I'd ask but I still am!
I just saw Percy Jackson this week and even though the acting was pretty bad, I still want the next movie to come out soon! On a somewhat related note, it's awkward when your little sister is all of a sudden using words like "hott" and "yum" when describing male actors. My sister is apparently in love with the actor who plays Percy in Percy Jackson and thinks his "muscles" are "extremely good looking." Why can't I stop laughing?
It seems like these last two weeks have left many people severely injured.
Shout out to Mara Dougherty and Abby Jones, hope you guys heal fast!
Wow what a rough week for celebrities! Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens broke up && Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson got a divorce.
On to the playlist...
Cooler Than Me (Mike Posner)
Fallin' (Asher Roth)
Good Life (One Republic)
MOMENTUM (The Hush Sound)
be by myself (Asher Roth)
Lisztomania (Pheonix)
Creator (Santigold vs. Switch and FreQ Nasty)
PAST MY SHADES (B.o.B feat. Lupe Fiasco)
Radio (Beyonce)
Fold Your Hands Child (Cobra Starship)
Geek In The Pink (Jason Mraz)

I am also pretty gullible.

Soup of Goodness anyone?
I LOVE SWEET CORN SOUP.
It just might be the best soup in the whole world. For Thanksgiving, me and the fam went to Chicago because a whole bunch of our family friends got together. The FEAST included mock turkey (because we're vegetarians), mashed potatoes, some cauliflower type thing, sweet corn soup, and pumpkin pie. OH MY GOD. The minute i tasted the sweet corn soup, a little fiesta took place in my mouth. The first thing i thought was "what a soup of goodness!"
This might've been the first Black Friday that I didn't leap out of my bed and try to get to the mall as fast as possible. I was very surprised with myself.
I am officially 3 episodes behind on glee. I desperately need to catch up. So far I haven't seen Puck come back, Gwyneth Paltrow (whom I absolutely adore) sing, and the apparently super sad episode of this week.
I officially love Fiber One bars thanks to Shreya Ramanujan.
I don't have a gaydar.
According to urban dictionary, a gaydar is "the ability/gift of being able to detect homosexuality in other people."
I don't have this gift. Apparently Elton John, Enrique Iglesias, and Tom Cruise are gay.
How the heck did I not know this??? I feel sequestered.
I watched Prince of Persia last night. I think I'm in love with Jake Gyllenhall. Just sayin'.
I think snow looks and feels better in the morning. There's something about waking up to snow. Winter wonderland is the first thing that comes to mind. When I'm walking home from my bus stop after school, I'm definitely not thinking the same thing. It's more along the lines of "why is my house so far from the bus stop?"
moving on to the playlist!
No intro this time, think what you want of it. it's called....
The conveyor belt!
1901 (Pheonix)
Heads Will Roll (Yeah Yeah Yeahs)
the sound of settling (Death Cab for Cutie)
STRAWBERRY SWING (Coldplay)
Half of My Heart (John Mayer & Taylor Swift)
Goodnight And Go (Imogen Heap)
HELLO SEATTLE (Owl City)
Lovers in Japan [Osaka Sun Mix] (Coldplay)
lessons learned (Matt & Kim)
Title and Registration (Death Cab for Cutie)

Finally finished Havana Nights. WHAT A GREAT MOVIE.
Javier and Katie are one of the cutest couples!
Plus, Javier is super attractive. no complaints there.

Can I please crash the next prank call party?
I promise not to laugh hysterically!
Lemme know if it's cool!

Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Other Things
AHHHH!!!!!
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 came out!!!! Though I did not get to go to the premiere (stupid I know, I have block 1 Euro to thank for that), I am already in love with it. I won't get to go see it until the week after Thanksgiving but STILL! That's only a week and half away! Second most exciting movie release of my life, the first being Iron Man 2.
Oh my gosh. During the past week, I have probably heard the most Star Wars references ever. I never realized how important Star Wars was. I now feel compelled to watch these movies.
I am in love with Spanish music. My favorite part of spanish class is la cancion. I have bought all of the songs we have listened to in class excluding like two that I didn't like. I feel accomplished.
the playlist!!
I decided to call this playlist Granola Bar because granola bars are quite deceiving. They look like they would be plain and HEALTHY but they actually contain delicious flavor (not to say that healthy things are not flavorful, I love Clif Bars and Great Grains Cereal.)These songs are, in a way, similar.
Granola Bar
Bitter Heart (Zee Avi)
My Love (The Bird & The Bee)
Tired (Adele)
far away (Ingrid Michaelson)
Good Ol' Fashion Nightmare (Matt & Kim)
Fearless (Colbie Caillat)
Soon We'll Be Found (Sia)
Forecast (Jason Mraz)
Adrift (Jack Johnson)
we intertwined (The Hush Sound)
JUST YOU AND ME (Zee Avi)
Sunday (Sia)
Melt My Heart to Stone (Adele)
Live High (Jason Mraz)
DIE ALONE(Ingrid Michaelson)
lessons learned (Matt & Kim)
Losing Keys (Jack Johnson)
MY MOON MY MAN (Feist)
Monte (Zee Avi)
G'bye!

Ke$ha's new song We R Who We R.
The song is okay, she has made better songs.
It bothers me how she feels the need to make 'are' into R. Text talk annoys me.
The most irritating text term is nd. Apparently this is short for 'and'.
Congratulations, a whole letter was eliminated.
I'm not saying that I don't shorten words, I do! I frequently use ik and deets. I just think that some things are
ridiculous.
